Nearly five million Americans receive blood transfusions each year. Blood is used to save the lives of patients who need surgery or other medical treatment, for trauma victims of accidents and burns and for patients with cancer, hemophilia, and other serious diseases.  Anyone 17 years of age or older, weighing over 110 pounds and in general good health is eligible to donate blood.

Please note that the location for the Blood Drives is in front of the Social Hall entrance and times are from 3:30 - 7:00pm

The 2012 Blood Collections at St. Bernadette's are
Thursday March 8, Thursday June 14,
Thursday September 20 and Thursday December 13.
